3 men steal $800,000 in jewelry at colorado luxury hotel - necklace earring and bracelet sets

ASPEN, Colo. (AP)—
Authorities say three people stole $800,000 worth of diamonds.
Jewelry was installed in the lobby of the small Nell Hotel in Aspen, Colorado.
According to the newspaper, police said a man involved in the theft on Friday opened the locked case with a screwdriver and put a necklace, at least one ring and a set of earrings in his backpack.
These items belong to Piranesi in New York.
There is a basic business in Aspen.
Veronica Sumner, an employee of Piranesi, said Piranesi has been on display for marketing purposes in the hotel lobby for more than 20 years.
Aspen police officer Kirk Whitley said, "the whole team is working hard and is quite large.
