In an Indian temple in southern India, billions of dollars worth of gold and silver jewelry, coins and gems were found.

Thousands of necklaces, coins and gems are kept in at least five underground vaults of the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, known for its intricate sculptures.
"We have not yet opened another chamber of secrets that was not open in 140," Mr Jayakumar said . ".
Mr. Jayakumar said that the actual value of the treasure could only be determined after inspection by the Archaeological Department.
This temple dedicated to the Indian godmaster Vishnu was built hundreds of years ago by King travano, and since then the donor's donation has been kept in the vault of the temple.
A necklace found on Thursday is six metres long.
Thousands of gold coins were also found.
Since India's independence from Britain in 1947, a trust fund run by descendants of the travano family has controlled the temple.
But the Supreme Court of India recently ordered the temple to be managed by the state to ensure the safety of the shrine's valuables.
So far, the third temple in southern Andhra Pradesh is considered to be the richest temple in India, and devotees offer offerings worth Rs 320 billion ($6. 6 billion).
Revelations about the great wealth of the Temple of Padma habaswamy forced police to install security cameras and alarms.

Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said: "Now the whole world knows that Padma havami Temple has jewelry worth billions of rupees, and we have decided to give it the greatest security.
